How to set up your Klatch Zoom account

If you don't already have a FREE Zoom account, you’ll have to start by creating a free zoom account with your email. 

NOTE: DO NOT use the email associated with a paid account or one you intend to pay for in the future. Doing so could delay your acount setup by up to 2 weeks and cause extra work for the Klatch Support Team. Paid accounts cannot be assigned a license by Klatch on our platform so please double check your Zoom account is free before proceeding. When linking your Zoom to Klatch (see section below) you will be asked to "delegate" your Zoom account to Klatch. This only enables Klatch to assign you a license for our workshops and does NOT allow us to use or own your account in any other way; you still retain full account control.  

Creating your zoom account

1. Go to zoom’s website https//zoom.us/
2. Click on the “Sign up, It’s Free” Button in the top-right corner

3. After clicking the Sign-Up button, verify your age
   1. 
4. After that, enter your email address to sign up.
   
   1. 
5. Once you enter your email, you will be prompted with this message. Follow the instructions on the page to finish setting up your zoom account.

6. Once you finish activating your account,fill in the information below.
   1. You’ll then be given an option to invite your colleagues to zoom. If you don’t wish to do this, just click the “Skip This Step” Button.
7. Congratulations! You’ve just created your own zoom account. Follow the next instructions to set up your zoom account with Klatch.

How to link your Zoom account with Klatch

1. To start, Click on your profile button on Klatch’s Website in the top right corner of Klatch’s Home Page.

2. Next, click the “Accounts” button in the drop-down
   1. 
3. Once it takes you to this screen, look for the “Zoom” tab in the bottom-left corner
   1. 
4. Enter the email that you set up your free zoom account within the box below.
   1. 
5. You should get an email from Zoom to approve the request
   1. 
6. Once you click the link to approve, log into zoom and accept the account change

7. Congrats! You have set up a zoom account with Klatch!

Request a change of email for your Klatch zoom account

1. Click on your profile button on Klatch’s Website in the top right corner of Klatch’s Home Page
2. Next, click “Accounts"
3. Once it takes you to this screen, look for the “Zoom” Button in the bottom-left corner
4. Lastly, Enter the new email you’d like to be associated with your Klatch Zoom Account. Our team should approve your request shortly after.
