Klatch Facilitator Getting Started Guide: Part 3

Multi-Session Workshops

Do you regularly run paid workshops and have an existing audience? If so, we generally recommend to stick to the cadence and strategies that work for you and your audience so as not to alienate them.

If you're new to running online paid workshops we recommend building and launching 4 workshops to start:

  • Workshops 1-3
    • Before creating multi-session workshops, we recommend creating 2 or 3 one session workshops at lower prices (roughly $20-$40). These workshops should be focused on drawing as many learners as possible whether that be through friends, family, past students, etc and asking your learners who attend to do the following:
      • Ask your learners to leave a review on the Klatch platform.
      • If they enjoyed your workshop, share it with other people they know who might be interested and post about it.
        • You can create Klatch coupons for discounts as well.
  • Workshop 4
    • This workshop should come within the weeks after the first three mentioned above and both be much larger in scope with multiple sessions and build on your earlier workshops.
      • For example, if your first workshop covered basic coding in a given language, your big fourth workshop could cover how to code a website across multiple parts.
      • This workshop could be multiple sessions and you can charge much higher per learner since you've now built up your audience.
      • As you receive more positive reviews and your credibility increase, you can increase prices accordingly as your portfolio of workshops expands. In addition, you will be able to convert more leads due to your newfound credibility.

Following Up

After running any workshop, it is important to follow up any way you can to keep the engagement of your learners. Here are a couple ways to keep your learners engaged after your workshops:

  • Continue to Market Your Workshop
    • Constantly share and market your workshops, making sure to mention future sessions if you're planning a multi-session workshop.
    • Continue to use the marketing templates Klatch provides you to regularly post on social media and via email. In addition, make sure to create organic content that appeals to your learners to continue drawing and converting more potential learners.
      • Some examples of these could be writing valuable articles or creating tip sheets for your learners. To learn more about marketing you workshop check out part 2 of this guide.
  • Posting in Between Workshops
