What is the Commission Split?

The 7/50 Commission Split:

To empower our facilitators, we’ve slashed our fees from facilitators paying 20% to just 7% and from a 4% PayPal fee to ZERO.

That means: YOU keep 93% of all revenue from learners you originate to the Klatch platform, and the learner covers the PayPal processing fee every time (~4-5%), so you don’t have to! 

So that we cover the marketing cost of learner acquisition, Facilitators keep 50% of all revenue from learners Klatch specifically brings to the platform.

How It Works:

Facilitator Generated Learner:

Facilitators who market their Workshop (through effective email campaigns, social media posts, etc.) will earn 93% of their total sales. This refers to each learner that purchases a Live Session, for the lifetime of the learner. By using the Share button for each workshop you can ensure a learner purchases a workshop, therefore keeping 93% of sales. 

1. Each workshop has a unique link designed for the facilitator. The facilitator will get a commission from anyone who purchases the workshop via this link.
2. This link can be copied from the "Share" button in the "My Workshops" page (see image)

3. While logged into your facilitator account, click on My Workshop, the URL will have your tag in it.

4. If you click on the workshop to share the link, the tag will still be in the link.
5. Share that link with your audience so that you get credit for that learner. For all learners that sign up using this link, you keep 93% of the profits.

Klatch Generated Learner:

If Klatch brings a learner to the platform, from any source (including another facilitator) there is a 50/50 split for the lifetime of the learner. 

1. Facilitator (User Based)
   1. The facilitator is the referrer.
      1. Examples:
         1. Facilitator A refers customer X to the platform. For any workshops customer A buys from facilitator A, the facilitator will get a commission. If Customer X buys workshops from any other facilitators on the platform, Klatch will get the commission (50/50).
2. Klatch (User Based)
   1. Klatch is the referrer.
   1. Examples:
   1. If Klatch refers customer X to the platform, any workshop customer X purchases, Klatch will get the commission.

How do you make sure you get the correct commission? Share your workshop link!

You can refer your learners to your workshop by using the link via the "Share" button created when you publish your workshop.

TIP: The share button will appear after you publish the workshop in the same location where the "publish" button was located previously. 

Where to locate the "Share" button:

Never copy the link from the address bar at the top of your workshop landing page. This link does not contain the necessary tag to track the source of the learner. Always use one of the methods outlined in this article.
